Rock Climbing?

It's more like rock FALLING!! Well for me anyway, Steph was really good at it!! Ha ha but not me! I would get like a few feet off the ground and then loose my grip or not be able to find a good hold- then I'd fall- and not with grace or style either, I fell like a total corn ball! Ha ha well it was fun anyway and that is all that matters right?

My friend Stephanie and I went to the rec center after work to do a little rock climbing and lift some weights. Of course I was being totally competitive but it didn't matter how hard I tried Steph beat me at everything! Ha ha she even burned more calories on the elliptical machine than me!
Steph just totally rocked it! ha ha get it "rock"ed- ya I know I'm lame!

She made it all the way to the top of this one and one of the other ones too!

My turn- yay so excited! Let's climb!!!!

Um, a little help here? I'm kinda stuck, think I'm gonna fall!!!

Yup, I fell and totally not gracefully!! I seriously fell like this! My bad!

Camping/Riding ALL weekend long!!

This weekend my dad and I joined my uncle Jeff and his four kids and one of the kids' friends, and we all headed up North to camp and ride all weekend! We had so much fun hanging out together, enjoying the amazing weather and view from the rim and of course RIDING OUR BRAINS OUT!! The riding was great, but the company was even better! I love my family!!!

Once we were all set up on Friday it was starting to get dark but I could not resist a ride- my quad was calling to me, so I threw on a helmet and took off! I came back looking a bit muddy! Ha ha

My cutie pie cousin Max for some reason enjoyed picking all the dried mud of my arms and legs! ha ha

Me with all the kids right before our first ride Saturday morning

The Jones family

Me with my daddy- enjoying the GORGEOUS view!

Quads, camping and amazing scenery all around- who could ask for anything more?

When night time rolled around we had to park the quads and make our own fun. I taught the girls two new card games and we had a blast just hanging out with "Girls Only" and playing cards and laughing- a lot!

While we played with cards, the boys played with bugs!!

They loved catching them and throwing them in the fire or making them hiss, or catapulting them with plastic spoons!! Boys are so weird! lol

Making sure that ear protection is on tight- Dad's AR-15 is LOUD!! But man is it a fun gun to shoot- my favorite for sure!

Caleb shooting down gatorade bottles- we had a lot of fun shooting while we took a break from riding

Max LOVES to shoot!! With dad showing him how Max was getting pretty good!

Just chilling

Laura and I had matching pink jerseys! Yay for being twiners! he hee

Jake catching some air

I caught a tiny amount of air- I am such a wimp now a days! Before my mission I was a little on the reckless side with all of my extreme sports and what not- but now I am so cautious cause in the back of my head I keep thinking- I can't get hurt, I gotta go back!!

Laura was chilling in the shade watching us jump

Dad went over to kick start Max's little 90 and he sat on it and looked so ridiculous I had to take a picture!! Ha ha 6 foot 3 men do not belong on seven year old's quads!

I'm a Power Ranger!

I love motocross gear! It is pretty cool- but I always feel like a power ranger when I where it! ha ha

My dad found a really good deal on both of these sets of Thor gear, so now I have new gear for our camping slash riding trip this weekend! I am so excited my dad, my uncle and cousins and I are all headed up north to camp out and ride all day long! Yes!!

It's all Relative

My Great Grandpa Smokey turned 100 this month and we had lots of relatives and friends come to visit for this momentous occasion! I was surrounded by relatives all weekend long!

The Jones sisters- together again!!

A rousing game of chess- Jake and Sarah

The Birthday boy with some of his visitors who flew in just for his 100th Birthday! Man he is so totally loved!! :)

All the girl cousins!! Yes there are so many of us! ha ha Laura, Allison, Me, Terra

The Jones family- I was gonna take a pic of every individual family, but well there's is the only one we ended up doing, ha ha that's ok, they are the cutest anyway! lol

My aunt and uncle from Michigan- The Gerstners

My cute parents- I enjoy seeing them still so very much in love after 24 years! :)

Playing the Wii at Grandma's house!

Ahh a camera we must force a cheesy smile!! ha ha

100!! Woah check it out- the cake doesn't lie!

My dad with his niece Laura Lou!

Ya that's right Scott- I caught you hogging all the food at the party! ha ha lol This is my cousin Terra's fiance Scott.

Me and my amazing mom!! We don't look alike at all right? People keep telling me I look just like my mom, man I just don't see it! ha ha j/k I say if I look like my mom then- Sweet!! Cause she is so darn pretty! :)

Adventure Time- Kleisler Style

Last weekend my dad and I decided it was time for another one of our adventures. We choose a "Kleisler Classic"- FOSSIL SPRINGS!!! We love Fossil Springs, but we don't do it the "normal way" - Kleisler's do things different, better one might even say! lol We decided to bring along some newcomers for this trip, my best friend Cristina and also my dad's cousin Kevin Gates and his whole family. We had a really great time as we hiked, did some cliff jumping off a water fall, and tubed down the river. At the end of the day the newcomers all decided they for sure wanted to come again, but cousin Kevin is going to need a special tube next time. Ha ha we are going to paint him a yellow one and write "short bus" on the side of it! lol Suffice to say everyone had fun, but cousin Kevin might need some tubing lessons! he hee

The beautiful waterfall that we always hike to

Deanna jumping off the rocks into the waterfall

Cousin Kevin jumped from the top of the waterfall- it only took him about 10 min to get up the courage to jump, he was sitting up there so long he had a nice little audience watching to see if he'd actually jump! ha ha

Spencer- the youngest of the Gates family jumps right off!

It's a bird, it's a plane, nope it's my dad jumping off the cliff! he hee

Collin has no fear and dove off the very top of the waterfall!!

No-fear Collin!! I think he jumped like 15 times off of the top!

I love climbing back behind the waterfall and jumping out from there

This is the jump from out behind the waterfall- crazy pic huh?

Once we had our fill of cliff jumping we tubed down the river on the crazy rapids- then we got to a cool spot and tied this rope across and played in the current.

Dad on one of the tubes playing around in the current

Deanna staring at all the tadpoles

I guess Megan takes after her mom- except Megan kept catching all the tadpoles!

Battle damage!! If you look at my dad's shoe, the whole rubber part is off, it was funny he had a talking boot for awhile, but then the whole thing ripped off!

The happy adventurers- well all except for Mr. Shortbus that is! ha ha
