Softball With The Collins'

Amy invited me to come play a game of softball against a neighbor family that they grew up with. I had so much fun playing ball and discovered that I wasn't as horrible as I remember being! lol I took turns playing in the field and holding babies- If you ask me the holding the babies part was more fun, but we didin't have as many adults as the other team so they needed me to play. It was a really great evening and I am just so blessed to be an honorary Collins.

Thanksgiving 2007

For the past several years my family on my mom's side gets together and goes to the zoo Thanksgiving morning. The boys and I rode our bikes around the zoo.

After the zoo we all meet back at my Grandma's house for a delicious feast! My mom and her sister Jill helped set everything up in the kitchen.

Chill'n in Cali

We spent our remaining time in California just hanging out and relaxing. We went to Long Beach and built a sand castle that turned out more like a buddah sculpture- don't ask me I didn't make it. We also visited some of my dad's relatives who live in Covina, CA and I had never met them before. We had such a great time but by the end of the trip I was ready to come home!!

I was just relaxing and then I decided to see if I could push Kevin into the ocean (dumb idea I know) so I walked up towards him nice and slow and just before I could shove him a giant pile of seaweed landed on top of me and I fell into the water. Keith took that pile of seaweed you see in the pic and dumped it on me. I was so mad that when I turned around to push him in he got the better of me and shoved me down into the sand- so I was wet and sandy!! Yuck.

We had our final family trip as a family of 5 and we had a blast!! We went to Disneyland and California Adventures the weekend before Thanksgiving and it wasn't really all that crowded. The longest we had to wait in line was 20 minutes!! Several rides we just walked on!!

Eat Some Dirt!!!

Any Monday holiday is a riding day for my family, ever since I bought my first motocross bike and got my family started in the whole off-roading thing, we take our quads, atc's and motorcycles and ride, race, jump and make each other eat our dirt whenever everyone has the day off!! We took advantage of Veteran's day and loaded everybody up and headed out to the desert. Today we went to a newer place we are trying out and it has tons of trails! We had a blast and were kicking up some serious dirt!! There is nothing I love more than riding, I wish I could have ridden my motorcycle today but this place that we went to has a lot of sandy washes that would fishtail my bike like no other. So I rode a quad instead which was fun- but I am a motorcycle girl all the way!

Then Kev got some air too! We all tried to see who could catch the most air- I had was out of the contest on the Tank because it is so heavy it can't catch anything, so I took pics of our impromptu contest instead. Keith ended up winning which surprised us all. He got at least 3 or 4 feet of air but unfortunately we had all put our cameras away by then.
