I love to see the temple!!

The Provo Temple fondly known as the Birthday Cake
The Salt Lake City Temple as seen from the roof of the Conference Center
Standing outside the doors of the temple- which in the not to distant future I will be going inside (well the Mesa one anyway)
In front of my fav picture in the conference center
Inside the tabernacle and by the look on my face I was done for the day and the week and ready to go home!!

Mom and I went to both the Provo Temple and Salt Lake Temple to enjoy the grounds. We went inside the visitors centers and took the tour of the Conference Center in Salt Lake. I loved being there and talked to some sisters missionaries about advice and what not but because we went the day before we were to fly home I was just exhausted and ready to be home sleeping in my own bed and back at work.

Education Week at BYU

Don't we look awesome at BYU- seriously there is a special glow about everyone you meet at Education Week! lol
Oh ya, too cool for school
BYU Creamery ice cream!!!
A very wise woman once told me "Vacation Calories Don't Count!" and I stuck with that philospsophy throughout the whole trip!!
One of my favorite LDS speakers: Brad Wilcox and I after one of his classes
My mom sport'n all her BYU bookstore bags
Aren't I cheesy?
A really crazy speaker: Barbra Barrington Jones
Mommy and me on Campus
That's me chilling on the sidewalk by the law building represent'n with my Ed Week Nametag!!

Only In Utah....

Oh ya. glamourous while pumping gas! lol
BYU Creamery, oh so good!!!
Ok so one thing I learned about Utah is that there are lots of spiders in the basement, this one is a wolf spider named Mr. Spidey, he lived in the bathroom at Ashly's and he didn't bug me so I didn't kill him, I squished all of them but Mr. Spidey!!
Ok so there is this place in Springerville, The Cedar Fort warehouse, where they let you look through there dent and scratch pile in the back and all the books were either 3 or 5 dollars!! We bought a ton of books!! I was in heaven!
Oh ya, donuts baby!!!
I was so excited when I saw a Krispy Kreme, I forgot they existed still because they went bankrupt in Arizona. We HAD to stop and get some donuts and ended up buying 2 dozen!!
Our wonderful rental car- the Chevy HHR, which I would not recommend to anyone!!
Gotta love the Grill at the BYU creamery, seriously the best Guacamole burger I have ever had and it was only 2.99!!!

Ok so the whole time we were in Utah I kept saying the phrase... "Only in Utah!"
For example.... There is a freaking Deseret Book inside the mall!
They broad casted President Faust's Funeral on the local Radio
There were over 9 brides at the temple on Saturday that all looked no older than 20
There are missionary stores everywhere
And there are missionary dress up clothes at build a bear, I mean come on!! Only in Utah!!!

Complete Silliness

Ok so late at night my mom and I got pretty crazy because we were so tired and so totally drained!! But hey it made for some good pictures!!
This is me in my "Pirate Pants" or that's what I called them anyway, I got them at this store in Provo called Kneeshorts. They are supposed to be Pajama Shorts, but they look like funky capri's on me! Lol, oh ya and I'm supporting BYU football with my 5 dollar shirt, he hee!
As you can see the silliness continues as mom peeks out of the bathroom at Ashly's Basement apartment, by the way thanks again Ashly!
My silly mommy, gotta love her!!!
Ok so this cracked my mom up... I have to explain, see there wasn't a single full length mirror anywhere in Ashly's house and only the bathroom mirror in the basement(which my mom hogged) and I always have to look at my whole outfit to see if I like it before I will go out for the day... so I took a self timed picture of myself and looked at it to see if I liked what I was wearing. When my mom would come of the bathroom and catch me doing this she would start snickering!!

Hanging With The Old People

Mom and I dropped Grandma off at her friend Marlene's house and then were invited to stay for dinner- which was delicious by the way!!Mom, Virgina and Grandma Joyce
A whole bunch of old people- lol!
Me- the cute young one, with a whole bunch of old people!!
So while we were at the airport my grandma started talking about how she could beat me in an arm wrestle (totally out of the blue by the way- that's my Grandma for ya!) Anyway so after dinner it was on- and guess who won? ME!!! But do you wanna know the sad part... it was kinda close, that old lady is strong!!! lol

An Airplane Adventure!

My mom and I flew to Utah last week to go to Education Week, this is the first post in the round of posts to come of all the pictures and good times had at BYU and Utah in general.

My grandma took the same flight as us out to Utah so we could drop her off at her friends house in Salt Lake for a visit. I love my Grannyma!!
Ya that's me chilling at the airport- it's boring waiting for a plane when you're so dang excited!
Ok so this is after arriving in Salt Lake and if you notice my face is a lot whiter in this pic then the before the flight pic. Ya for my first time ever in 20 years I got sick on the airplane- the turbulance was so bad that I "tossed my cookies" as my grandma put it. So ya I wasn't feeling to good when we got to the airport so I made this little fort out of the luggage while waiting for my mom to get the rental car.
This is my mom's best attempt not to laugh at me and my silliness inside my fort while's she's waitng in line to rent the car.

My Bro and His Girlfriend

I have to give myself credit- Keith looks cute, because I picked out his outfit. He is like my little Ken doll, he lets me dress him up for his dates, it's fun!!
Kevin thought he was funny jumping in my shot, but I guess it turned out kinda cool so I can't be too mad! lol

I being the crazy wanna be photographer that I am saw a cute photo op and took it!! Keith and his girlfriend Sara were over tonight and they both looked especially cute and I marched them out to my favorite portrait taking place in front of our house and snapped these pics. I gotta admit they look pretty good together! I really enjoy seeing my brother so happy.

One Last Time to Rock Out!

I sold my drums today because I just didin't have time to play them anymore and I really didn't have enough room for them. I played them one last time before the guy who bought them came to pick them up. I really am going to miss them because I loved to just beat on them and make up my own rythms and play along to songs aswell. One of these days I'll buy a new set, when I have the time and space for them-I'm not sure when that will be, lol!

The Three Amigas

My best friends and I had a sweet reunion Thursday night when Jenesse arrived back home after spending the entire summer in Washington. We are so glad to have her back home!!! Cristina and I were invited over for dinner at Jenesse's and we thoroughly enjoyed it and then we took these pics in front of Jenesse's Welcome Home banner that her family made for her.

How old are we again?

We might be 20 but we don't always act like it!! Cristina and I had a blast goofing around and taking pictures at the park just for the heck of it! Gotta live it up while we are still young and single! lol

Pretty in Pink

I have been doing Jack and Amy a favor (like always, lol) and taking the girls home from school for them. Today I took them to Chik-Fil-a after school and then back to my house to do homework and then play for a little while before Jack got home since Amy is in Utah helping one of her sisters who is about to have her baby. We were hanging out in my room and I snapped this pic cause I thought it was cute that they were all wearing pink (No surprise there- they are all such girly girls!) It pretty funny that these three girly girls have an extremly tom-boy babysitter/fake big sister/friend/fake cousin/whatever else we call ourselves!!!

Changing it up!

Anyone who knows me really well will know this already, but for those of you who don't.... I LOVE CHANGE!!! I absolutely love it when a change comes about in my life because I see it as a new challenge! I try to change things as much as possible when I can, so I have always been a big fan of changing up my room (I can't wait until I have an entire house to change up- and probably no budget to do it- lol) I usually change around the furniture, comforter and basically everything, even stuff on my walls and door about every 3-5 months. I have painted one of the walls in my room more times then I can remember!! lol Anyway the point of all of this is that this weekend I hard core cleaned out my room (I am also a neat freak and the extreme opposite of a pack rat) I moved around some things changed some stuff up and got some new furniture, I am also sadly saying goodbye to my drum set. I am going to sell it because I just don't have the time to play as much as I would like and they took up so much space in my room!! So anyway here are some pics of what it looks like now.I am not done yet, I still want to get a little side table and lamp to put next to my new chair. I am going to wait until all of the college dorm stuff goes on clearance or something I think.
I got this cool cityscape curtain for my closet
And of course rocking the black duvet cover from Ikea

So far I am liking the changes, but as always they won't last long!! Pretty soon here I am going to paint that black graffiti wall so that it will be white and I can continue on with my quote wall. I think my quote wall is my absolute favorite part of my room and I told my parents they can't paint it while I am on my mission. There are years of memories all over those walls!!!

Friday Night With My Girls

I LOVE my Chubba Bubba!!
Such a cutie pie!!
That little trouble maker didn't like that I was reading "Eclipse" instead of playing with her, so she crawled up to me and pulled on the book. She actually ended up tearing out an entire page, but I taped it back together and then gave up on the idea of trying to read with Annie around. lol
My dogs sure loved all the attention they were getting!!
The competition was hot, but of course I smoked them!! lol, let's hope so, I am more than twice their age!!
I love the way I caught Kiley in action in this shot!! Such a little dancer.
The girls got so into it, quite hilarious!
Annie really takes to just about anyone, my family included. She loved playing with Keith and the dog tags he was wearing!

I decided to do something laid back but still fun with the girls tonight so we went to Hollywood Video and rented some dvds and then I took the girls over to my house and they watched the movie on our big tv (it's always more fun to watch a movie some where different, ya know?) and I popped popcorn and gave them cookies as well. Annie and I hung out in my room during the movie because little mischievous (Annie) would crawl around on the floor and get into too many things since my house is not baby proofed lol! After the movie was over Keith set up the DDR and the girls loved it! They were all sad when I told them we had to go, and then on the way home they told me thank you over and over and also told me I was their absolute favorite babysitter and that was I was the best. To which I replied "I know!" lol j/k. I really am lucky to have the girls as part of my life and to me part of my family.
