Counting Down!!

I had the kids at my work help me make a paper chain to count down the days until I get to put my mission papers in!! Sadly it is a decently long chain, but hey I look forward to pulling a piece off every day!! I just can't wait for December 20th to come!!! I am so excited, like BEYOND excited!
This is (obviously) me in front of a small part of the chain, it is stapled on one and a half of the walls in my room!

Fossil Springs

After packing up from the Ward Camp out on Saturday morning we loaded up and drove out to Fossil Springs to go hiking, cliff jumping and tubing. We had tons of fun, bruises, adventure, adrenaline rushes and girlish screams over bugs(none of which came from me- just for the record!!) It took me awhile to post these pics because I had to pull them off of Kevin and Brad's cameras (I decided not to take my $500 camera down the river!) So anyway the photo credit goes to the boys for these snapshots.Ingrid carrying up her tube on her head!!
Brad chilling out- these hikes are nothing for these pack mule boys!!
I on the other hand love the hiking but not so much the hiking while carrying a giant tube thing!!
The gorgeous falls that we hiked to and then proceeded to jump off of!!
Kevin was the first to take the plunge!!
Then it was my turn!! I am not gonna lie- I was pretty terrified to jump off of here because you were jumping out from underneath the water fall and the water was splashing so hard on the rocks that you couldn't tell where the ledge was- anyway it was so freaky, but oh so cool!! One of the best adrenaline rushes ever!!
Sarah opted for jumping off of a ledge instead of the waterfall itself!! We were all pretty proud of her for jumping because she was pretty scared!!
Ingrid goes for it full throttle!!

We hopped on our tubes from the water fall and rode the rapids and current all the way down and back to the trail near where we parked. Don't be fooled by Keith's laying about, it was some seriously crazy stuff, but we didn't risk the cameras to take pics of that part!!
Everybody but Sarah (taking the pic)

Ward Campout at Christopher Creek

Ingrid and I decided that we would set up the girls' tent all on our own!! We would NOT let the boys or anyone help us!! We were so proud of ourselves when we did it, and it didn't collapse!
Ingrid playing in the tent
Brad helping carry up the airmatresses (yes some of those pansies slept on airmattresses- not me I camp the real way!!) lol
Mom actually came on a ward camp out- this picture is the proof!!
Hot Chocolate!!
Stargazers make silly faces!! lol
A couple of couples!!
Silly kids!
Mom was cold, can you tell?
This is one of my sunbeams Lorelai, she taught me a very important lesson yesterday: If you make up a game where you hide her toys you have to keep playing it with her until you can sucker someone else into doing it!! lol
Kevin and the boys played airsoft and went around shooting each other in the woods (that's a gun outstretched in his hand- I know it's kinda hard to tell)
My parents- aren't they cute?
Sarah and Ingrid

This is why it takes us so long to get to the campout...

We stopped at Arby's in Payson for dinner and then of course goofed off for a little while!!
Yummy yummy!
Ingrid and Kevin
This is what happens when you have been sitting in a car listening to really bad music for 2 hours straight!! Lol Your brain goes to mush and you start thinking that painted on potato chips on delivery trucks are real!!

Unscheduled Pitstop

On our way up to our ward camp out this weekend we had a little trailer trouble. It turns out one of the tires had a piece blow out of it about halfway through the trip, so we stopped on the side of the highway and the guys put on the spare. While we were waiting I thought "What a great time to take pictures" So I got out my camera and snapped a bunch of shots of the guys at work as well as the rest of us just hanging around watching the sunset.

The guys trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it

Quick tire change

Cute Couple on the Side of the Road! lol

Preparing!!!

Someone asked me the other day what I have been doing in my spare time since I am not going to school this semester and I don't have homework or anything. I replied with one word... PREPARING!!! So I thought I would post up some pics of what I have been doing to prepare for my mission although in all honesty I know I will never feel totally prepared!!!

I have been reading constantly!! I try to mix in reading for fun and studying. I have LOTS of missionary books and preparing for the temple books as well as reading the Scriptures and of course Preach My Gospel-which I love!!

-No I wasn't just trying to show off my muscles- I had to get some shots, today makes seven shots total that I have had to get for my mission and in March I will get two more to top these off! Luckily I don't have a fear of needles or anything so getting shots doesn't bug me, but I did get three today so my arm is kinda sore.

Annie

Look at that big Annie girl!!!
Getting sniffed and licked by the dogs! She decided that she likes to watch them but doesn't really want them near her!
Patiently waiting for me to open her Birthday present- I couldn't wait to give it to her, and besides when your 1 you don't know the difference between your B-day and any other day right?
Love my Annie Girl!! I can't believe she will be ONE on Wednesday!!
"My Bongos!!" No sharing of new birthday toys is allowed when your 1 I think.
Ya she LOVES her drums- I am making her a little bit more like me each and every day!! lol
My baby and I at Applebees- oh and by the way- there are very few things this girl loves more than french fries!!
My best friend and my best baby. LOL
This is what we call a mad face!!
This is what we call giving in to the mad face! But hey at least she has good taste in magazines-lol!!
This is what we call mischief!!
Yup-told ya, mischief!!! She LOVED rearranging my room for me- too bad I liked it better the way it was before!! lol
